Addressing the function, not just the symptom.
Whether it’s a tongue-tie, tongue thrust, or multiple issues, all treatment is comprehensive and individualized.
The Comprehensive Myofunctional Therapy includes up to 12 months of therapy. It begins with a comprehensive evaluation, and is followed by a 30 minutes session, either in-person or virtually, every 2 weeks to monitor progression and teach new functional exercises.
Orofacial myofunctional disorders can affect the way you breathe, rest, chew, swallow, speak, and maintain proper tongue and jaw posture.
My comprehensive approach looks at how the tongue, lips, jaw, cheeks, facial muscles, breathing, and swallowing patterns work together. I identify dysfunctional patterns through a comprehensive evaluation and develop an individualized therapy program designed to establish healthier, more efficient oral and facial function.
